Korean Fried Chicken

Annyeonghaseyoooooo
It's been 2 months since I've been back from South Korea and I'm missing the country soooo much.
Went to Seoul twice within 6 months but the during latter trip I went to Jeju as well!!
I'm a huge lover of Kpop (Big bang anyone?), korean food, k beauty and it just makes me feels so happy walking down myeongdong looking at the endless streets of kbbq and aritaum, etude house, the face shop..etc
My first trip in South Korea was more of a shopping trip so I decided to make my 2nd trip more food oriented. Gained 5kg after my Korea and Europe trip wtf. Honestly the thing that I miss the most is the food!!! I love to eat korean food, in fact I only eat korean food (especially bibimbap) in school everyday lol I'm a sucker for spicy and sour stuff. All the restaurants that I went to in Seoul had free flow kimchi! My friends don't really like kimchi but I spammed lots on my rice lol it's freeeeee.
I had my meals mainly in hongdae and sinchon. Sinchon especially for kbbq cause there is a bbq street and prices are really affordable. Didn't ate much in myeongdong except street food because it's more catered to tourist hence restaurants are slightly more expensive.
Kbbq in one of the restaurants in Sinchon! I can't rmb the shop name but I love the shop so much that I dined there during both of my korea trip. Beef slice was around 7,000-8,000 won if I remember correctly. We wrapped the barbecued meat in lettuce and ate it the local way. Simple and satisfying.
Towards the end of the trip we were tight on money so we ate kimbaps for lunch to save money. Each roll of kimbap is around 2,500 won and it taste so good nomz.
On the last day of my korea trip I realized I forget to buy korean fried chicken and beer T_T
Been wanting to try that ever since I watched You who came from the stars lol the fried chicken looks so juicy when jeon ji hyun bites into it.
So........................I went to Lotteria in the airport while waiting for my flight and tried their fried chicken. It's not the best fried chicken in korea but better than nothing. The chicken was quite juicy and sweet.
Two of my biggest regrets from this trip is #1 I didn't manage to bump into 2NE1 or Big Bang on the streets LOL and #2 fried chicken!! >:(
Quite sad I didn't get to eat enough fried chicken in Korea so I've been going around eating Korean Fried Chicken ever since I'm back in Singapore. So far all those I tried are soy garlic sauce fried chicken so I was really thrilled when KFC came out with the new Korean-inspired sweet sauce fried chicken! No more soy garlic sauce hahah to be honest I'm kinda of sick of it cause I prefer my fried chicken spicy.
BATTLE OF THE KFC WINGS
Freshly breaded in-store with a special batter, these
juicy wings are cooked to crispy perfection and coated in your choice of

savoury Umadare and the Korean-inspired sweet and spicy Yang Yeum. Who
will be crowned king of the wings? You decide.
Pick a side and be part of KFC’s greatest wing-off. Hashtag #kfcoishii to support Umadare or #kfcmashisoyo to support Yang Yeum on Instagram!
I vote for #kfcmashisoyo. What about you?

Thor The Dark World
Wednesday, October 30, 2013 | 5:15 PM |
Hi!! I can't wait to watch Thor The Dark World in the cinema! I was blown away after watch the first movie in 2011! This time round an ancient race led by the vengeful Malekith returns to plunge the universe back into darkness.
Faced with an enemy that even Odin and Asgard cannot withstand, Thor must embark on a journey that will reunite him with Jane Foster but force him to sacrifice everything, to save us all.
I'm really excited about the movie because......... Chris Hemsworth is so hot! Keke~ Hemsworth said he lives in a protein-heavy diet in order to stay in shape for life as Thor. "I basically overfeed on protein and endless amounts of chicken breast and steak and fish and vegetables and brown rice," he said.
That explains the muscles!!
Of course I'm also excited to see Natalie Portman and Tom Hiddleston as well! Tom Hiddleston recently went to Korea and he danced Crayon Pop's Bar Bar Bar and the dance was daaaaamn cute!! Natalie Portman is so beautiful and perfect! Besides that, I'm really eager for the movie because with an enemy that even Odin and Asgard cannot withstand, how will Thor fight to save the world? I'm curious if Loki will help his brother or continue against him.
Watch the trailer!!
Hmmm if I have Thor’s Mjölner for a day......can I use it to whack people who I don't like HAHAHAH NO JUST KIDDING that's very bad. I think I'll try to be a superhero like Thor to protect and help people around the world! Not to gain fame but to genuinely help people. It's always good to help people when you have the ability to. I always believe that what goes around comes around.

Helloooooo!
I have been wanting to try skinmiso nose pack for quite a while but the price T^T $28.90 if I remember correctly...if it doesn't works then money wasted again. When I saw the trial pack in Watson I grabbed a pack immediately!!!
There's 3 items in the trial pack
- 1Step mask (removes blackheads)
- 2Step mask (contract pores)
- cotton swab
There's a 3Step pore beauty silky essence to control oil but it's not available in the trial pack. It's really easy to use!
1. Put the first mask (1Step) on your nose for 10 minutes.
2. After 10 minutes, remove the mask and remove the leftover blackheads and whiteheads using the cotton swab in the pack.
3. Wash your nose lightly around the area you want to treat and put the second mask (2Step) for another 10 minutes.
4. Apply the pore essence (which is not in the trial pack) on your nose.
I forgot to take the before and after pictures of my nose....... But I took a picture of the amount of dirts that came out

Review : Skinfood Black Sugar Perfect First serum
Monday, August 19, 2013 | 4:12 PM |
Hi!! Reviewing Lee Minjung's secret weapon for her incredibly smooth skin today!
Skinfood's Black Sugar Perfect First serum!
For incredibly smooth skin at every angle
[Black Sugar Serum tutorial by Lee Minjung]
Her skin's so perfect~
I'm currently using Skinfood's cosmetic products but I've never tried their skincare products before so I'm really happy to be able to try their latest skincare product from their best selling range (Black Sugar Range) ! \^o^/ Thank you Skinfood!
What I received from Skinfood : 10ml Black Sugar Perfect First Serum, 2 special cotton pad (more about this later) and a pamphlet providing more details on the serum.
Basically it's a serum that provides
exfoliating, brightening,
wrinkle-smoothing and
hydrating benefits in a
single formula! I can save money from buying extra exfoliating, brightening, anti-aging and hydrating products by using the serum!!
What makes Black Sugar Perfect First Serum so perfect?!
Because......
- Black Sugar Extract : contains mineral-rich Brazilian black sugar extract
- Skin Renewup : Patent (A brightening and antioxidant cosmetic ingredient) - Contains the extract of
imbricated hydnum, precious mushrooms that are widely used for culinary purposes
and the extract of maca, a resilient and nutritious plant.
- Multi Fruit Complex: Made of organic acid-rich papaya, orange, lemon and apple
extracts
- Free of six harsh chemicals: Formulated without benzophenone, mineral oil,
silicone oil, sulfates, acrylamide
Black Sugar Perfect First Serum has a special "Wipe" and "Pat" instructions.
The wipe/rough side (left) and the pat/absorbent side (right)
The serum has a watery texture like a toner. When I applied it on my face there's a slight cooling effect and it has a really nice black sugar fragrance. The fragrance is not very strong but it smells so niceeee. My face felt really smooth and soft after just one use! As for the brightening effect I think I'll have to use it longer to see the effect.
My cotton pad after wiping! It looks quite clean because I exfoliate quite regularly so there's not a lot of dead skin cells. There are still some dead skin cells on the cotton pad but it's not really evident on picture.
Overall I really like the serum! It doesn't give me any breakouts and it helps to keep my skin soft and smooth. I have been using it every day for almost a week and so far I'm really pleased with it.
The actual size is 120ml and the retail price is $56.90. Black Sugar Perfect First Serum comes with a free pack of special cotton pads so I think it's really worth it plus it has so many benefits (exfoliating, brightening, wrinkle-smoothing, hydrating).
GOOD NEWS FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO TRY THE SERUM!
Stay tune to Skinfood's Facebook page for more details on the launching date!
